Verizon Wireless has sent press invites to few including The Verge for the event to be held on July 23, 2013 in the New York city. The carrier says it will "unveil the next generation of one of [its] most popular family of devices." It is expected that the Droid Ultra, the Droid Maxx and the Droid Mini will be announced in the event, replacing the Droid RAZR HD, Droid RAZR Maxx HD and the Droid M which were announced last year in an event.
