If you see the latest Nokia Lumia 925 (with GDR2 update out of the box), the first thing you'd notice is its Glance Screen. The Nokia Glance Screen brings the 'always-on clock' to the device even when the phone is turned off. Now it is a part of Nokia Lumia Amber Update and would be available to all the Lumias except 520 & 521. Well, its really surprising that Nokia is not going to install this to their 'most selling devices'.
As you can see in the image above, the Glance Screen shows the clock. Along with the clock, it displays some other essential notifications like the status of your alarm and allows you to wake up your device by double tapping the screen.
The Finnish OEM has made it clear that "hardware restrictions" prevent the Lumia 520 and Lumia 521 from offering the Glance Screen.
